We have a new Quartet in Residence – The Behn Quartet!

On Thursday 2nd February during Period 3, the Behn Quartet will be performing a concert to launch their residency here at Lister. The whole of Year 7 will be invited to the concert, along with students from Music Specialist Schools. The residency is linked to our annual trip to the West Cork Music Festival in July, and the quartet will be working with small groups of instrumentalists over the coming months to improve ensemble playing and prepare students for a concert in Ireland.
If there are any other students – not in Year 7 or the Music Specialist Schools – who would like to be considered for the West Cork trip, please see Miss Haynes to discuss and get your name added to the concert guest list.

We are looking forward to working with the professional quartet and improving our chamber music skills with them!
