This year promises to be the most exciting yet for Music at Lister Community School, starting THIS WEEK with trips to see the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain and the Simon Bolivar Orchestra of Venezuela.
We will be continuing with our projects with Cambridge University and Oompah Brass, as well as hosting the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain for a one-day residency that will include workshops and performances with all year groups; we will be taking groups to perform in the Music for Youth regional series at Union Chapel in March; our E13 groups will be putting on a Ten Pieces Play Day; we will be taking groups on residential trips to the West Cork Music Festival and to Radley College with our MiSST partner schools; plus lots of secret things we’re yet to tell you about…
